Towards Energy-Efficient Tbps Wireless Links

Work Packages

WP1: Project and risk management

Lead: TUDelft

Aims to ensure that the project is carried out according to the plan, and facilitates good internal and external communication.

WP2: Use cases, system model and requirements

Lead: OTE

This WP specifies the use cases targeted by the TeraGreen concept deriving the corresponding system requirements as well as the associated KPIs.

WP3: SiGe transceivers and enabling technology

Lead: CHALMERS

SiGe-BiCMOS technology support, process design kit (PDK) development, circuit design, manufacturing, and circuit-level characterization required to create highly-integrated transceivers and antennas.

WP4: Quasi-optical antennas

Lead: TUDelft

Design and characterization of quasi-optical systems with high focusing gain and tight steering capability.

WP5: Baseband algorithms

Lead: TUDresden

Develops energy-efficient baseband algorithms for wideband communication over a quasi-optical link.

WP6: Validation and demonstrations

Lead: Ericsson

Validates TeraGreen technologies through two proof-of-concept demonstrators for future 6G transport networks.

WP7: Communication, dissemination, exploitation and standardization

Lead: Infineon

Focuses on communication, dissemination, exploitation, and standardization of the project results, aiming to effectively share project results, contribute to the European Research Union, and exploit scientific outcomes.
